Discover the rich flavors of Honduras with this exquisite coffee from the Copán region. Grown at elevations between 1200-1700 meters, this organic washed-process coffee offers delightful tasting notes of milk chocolate, brown sugar, macadamia nut, and raisin. Sourced from the Cafescor cooperative, which is Fair Trade, Organic, and Rainforest Alliance certified, this coffee is not just about flavor—it’s about supporting small farmers and sustainable practices.

Our Honduran coffee from the Copán, Corquín region is a true representation of craftsmanship and sustainability. Sourced from Cafescor (Cafes Especiales Corquin), a cooperative founded in 2012 by small coffee producers, this coffee reflects the dedication of 131 active members who have come together to produce exceptional specialty coffee. The cooperative farms cover approximately 400 hectares, cultivating a variety of high-quality coffee beans including Caturra, Catuai, Bourbon, Lempira, Parainema, and Ihcafe 90 at altitudes ranging from 1200 to 1700 meters above sea level.

What sets this coffee apart is not only its distinct flavor profile but also the commitment to sustainable practices. With certifications such as Fair Trade, USDA Organic, UTZ, and Rainforest Alliance, Cafescor focuses on both environmental stewardship and the well-being of its community. The coffee undergoes a washed process at the state-of-the-art Beneficio Cafescor wet mill, ensuring a clean and consistent cup.

In every sip, you’ll experience the creamy sweetness of milk chocolate, the rich warmth of brown sugar, the buttery texture of macadamia nuts, and a subtle finish of dried raisin. These flavors reflect the fertile soils of Copán and the cooperative’s meticulous approach to cultivation and processing. Additionally, Cafescor contributes significantly to the community, sponsoring educational events and donating water filters to schools and health centers.

This coffee is a true celebration of Honduran culture and tradition, making it perfect for those seeking both a delicious brew and a coffee with a meaningful story behind it.
